Activities

i.

On-farm testing to assess the location specificity of agricultural technologies under various farming systems.

ii.

Organize Frontline Demonstrations to establish production potential of technologies on the farmers’ fields.

iii.

Capacity development of farmers and extension personnel to update their knowledge and skills on modern agricultural technologies.

iv.

To work as knowledge and resource centre of agricultural technologies for supporting initiatives of public, private and voluntary sector in improving the agricultural economy of the district.

v.

Provide farm advisories using ICT and other media means on varied subjects of interest of farmers.

వివిద వ్వవవసాయ  మరియు అనుబంధ విభాగాలలో పంటల సమస్యలకు ప్రధర్శన క్షేత్రాల/క్షేత్ర పరిశీలనల నిర్వహణ ద్వారా పరిష్కారాలను కనుగొనడం.

ప్రధమశ్రేణి ప్రదర్శనా క్షేత్రాల నిర్వహణ ద్వారా వివిద పంటలలో మరియు అనుబంద విభాగాలలో  నూతన నిరూపించబడిన సాంకేతికతను పరిచయం చేయడం.

విస్తరణ అధికారులకు వ్యవసాయ మరియు అనుబండ విభాగాలలో నూతన సాంకేతికత ఒరవడులపై శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించడం.

రైతులకు, రైతు మహిళలకు, గ్రామీణ నిరుద్యోగ యువతకు వృత్తి నైపుణ్య స్వల్పకాల మరియు దీర్ఘకాల శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించడం ద్వారా స్వయం ఉపాధిని కల్పించడం.
