  Sheep demonstration unit

At KVK, Banavasi, cattle and sheep demo units have been established in the year 2018, with Nellore jodipi sheep (20 ewes and 1 ram) and Cattle unit with 2 cows and 2 bulls.

At present, Sheep demonstration unit consists of Nellore Jodipi sheep (100+5) as breeding stock which are reared in semi-intensive farming type where sheep are allowed for grazing during day time and concentrate feed is being supplied at shed.
